 Hertfordshire Golf and Country club


 The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club is not only home to an amazing Golf course and Driving range, but also houses an incredible Health Club with Outdoor Tennis Courts and stunning Swimming pool.  A Bar and Restaurant, Function, Conference and Wedding facilities and relaxing Beauty Spa and Hair Salon are also located in the Mansion.


 The Clubhouse is set in an 18th Century Mansion and the course meanders through ancient grounds once owned by The Order of Knights Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem.


 Alongside the course is the Driving Range consisting of 27 floodlit bays, with exclusive Members-only grass driving area and further practice facilities.


 The Swimming Pool boasts a unique environment, with a glass roof and Greco style area, with specific times for Adult only swimming and Family splash times.


 On the first floor of the Clubhouse, the Health Club consists of three Fitness areas with a combination of Cardiovascular and Resistance Equipment and a Stretch Room. The Two Outdoor, Floodlit Tennis Courts can be used by Members and their Guests.  The Studios host a variety of fitness classes throughout the week and these range from Yoga and Pilates to Body Combat and Zumba.


 Lea Valley Regional Park


Lee Valley Regional Park Authority runs award winning open spaces and sports venues along the 26 mile long, 10,000 acre park. The park was created by a unique Act of Parliament as a “green lung” for London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Our approach is to be community focused and commercially driven, to work with partners to produce a unique combination of activities, sights and experiences.


 Broxbourne Sports Club


 Broxbourne Cricket Club looks forward with optimism to the 2012 season, aiming to build on previous campaigns that have resulted in numerous promotions for both the Saturday and Sunday league teams.


 Broxbourne Hockey Club forms part of the vibrant set up at Broxbourne Sports Club. Broxbourne HC are one of the few Clubs in Hertfordshire to benefit from both their own Clubhouse and quality Astro pitch on site, helping the club to grow and develop into the largest in the area.


 The Club boasts a strong running section for over 16 year olds of all abilities. As always new members very welcome. WEDNESDAYS - Meet 7 p.m. and SUNDAYS - Meet 10 a.m at Broxbourne Sports Club. We try to ensure that all standard of runner are catered for and always have 3 different sessions available each Wednesday evening.


 Broxbourne Sports Club provides 5 courts including a glass back show court. The club provides a home for all standards of squash and racketball. All ages and levels are welcome. We run 5 mens teams, winter and summer league and also a Vets and Vintage team. We have 18 internal squash leagues and 5 racketball leagues.


 The club is affiliated to L.T.A has approximately 340 members. There are eight all-weather tennis courts (Flood-lit) and three grass courts which are very well maintained. There are also two Mini Tennis courts.The club has strong ladies, mens and mixed teams in county divisions.


 John Warner Sports Centre


John Warner is located along Standead road in Hoddesdon. It has great facilities including:

 Paradise Wildlife Park


Paradise Wildlife Park is a family-run animal park located in Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, England. It was previously known as Broxbourne Zoo, but became Paradise Wildlife Park under the new management of the Sampson Family in 1986.


 Paradise Wildlife Park is home to over 400 animals, which include small mammals, paddock and farmyard animals, birds, primates, reptiles and big cats. They house Tigers, Tawny Lions, Jaguars, Snow Leopards, Ocelot, Lynx, Clouded Leopard, African Leopard and the rare White Lions.
